Excellent review of the history of the struggle for the right to vote. Now some ease has developed with early voting etc. changes but remaining and new barriers need to be identified, pushed aside, and banished.
Thanks for response. While Michigan has made it easier to vote, thanks to the voters passing the proposal in the last election, other states, including the former Jim Crow ones, seem to be going back to their so-called 'good old days' of harder access and voter suppression.
