In the North Country

This reading is from an outdoors piece I wrote early in my career. It’s included as part of ‘The Long Crossing’ Selected Writings that was published in 2017. I recorded these excerpts a few years ago as a video, though it’s mainly an audio. Not sure how it’ll turn out. If it works, I may try a few more. With the arrival of another Spring to Michigan and elsewhere in these northern climes, a fishing story seems appropriate.
